LuciusJames Consulting, LLC (LJC) is a multifaceted company with a track record of success over the past 30+ years in public safety/security, providing lobbying services to its clients through astute consultation and highly effective representation, primarily before the North Carolina General Assembly.
The firm is also a business contractor for LifeLoc Technologies (manufacturer of breath alcohol testing instruments). LJC also provides business and public safety consulting for private and public entities. Consultations include management coaching for first time managers (pro bono), church security, criminal background checks, and drug testing.
LJC delivers public safety/security strategies and consultation to law enforcement agencies, security companies, businesses and individuals.
We are registered with the North Carolina Secretary of State as a lobbyist.
LEADERSHIP
Chris Hailey, Partner
Chris Hailey has more than 30 years of experience in public safety and security. He began his career as an officer in the Raleigh Police Department, served as a Master Trooper and Training Coordinator for the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, and was the Director of Public Safety Training for Central Piedmont Community College.
In addition to his experience in law enforcement, Chris has also been in leadership in the private security sector as the Mobile Branch Manager – North Carolina for Securitas Security. His commitment to the delivery of quality service and operational efficiency are at the core of his work.
As a partner in LuciusJames Consulting, LLC, Chris oversees property management, background checks, motor vehicle record checks and public safety/security consulting to law enforcement agencies, security companies, businesses and individuals.
Chris is a results-oriented professional with strong leadership and analytical abilities. His proven competencies in public safety, security, strategy development, project management and team building are what make him an integral part of the LuciusJames team.
Chris is a Fellow with the Institute of Political Leadership (IOPL). He also has a BS in Education from Shaw University and a MS in Organizational Management from Pfeiffer University.
